Sometimes he wears more than 20 rings on his hands. Who is he? I’m talking about Karl Lagerfeld, probably the most famous designer living on this earth.

Let’s have a history lesson: Karl Otto Lagerfeld was born in Germany and he reached his first success as a designer with a wool coat that he presented at a competition. At this event he met Pierre Balmain who helped him with his first

steps into fashion business. But as head- designer for Chanel he earned the worldwide glory and fame. Best known for his Prêt- a- Porter collections, Lagerfeld was the one to leverage Claudia Schiffer, the former German super model, to her fame.

Karl Lagerfeld’s trademarks are of course his white powdered hair and his sunglasses, but also the many rings he wears on each hand. Not just one, five or even ten. No! The picture shows Karl Lagerfeld’s hands and here he wears 20 rings! He is a symbol of extravagance.

So maybe the next time you are putting your rings on, think of Karl and his hands and put another one on. And another one. And again: another one.
